“Dear young people, you are not the future but the now of God
and he invites you and calls you in your communities and cities
to go out and find your grandparents and elders;
to stand up and with them to speak out
and realize the dream that the Lord has dreamed for you.”
- Pope Francis, World Youth Day 1/27/2019
At St. Francis Church, we recognize that our young people are not the church of tomorrow, they are essential parts of our church today. We strive to help our students continue their growth as faith-filled and joyful young disciples of Christ. We encourage and involve the students as active members of our faith community. We recognize that parents are the primary teachers of the faith for their children, and we accompany and support our families in this mission. We acknowledge that service is our faith in action. Our students are empowered to share the light of Christ through their service to others.
